SafetySafety is our first priority at Kids' City. We take seriously the fact that you entrust your children to our care, and we care for them as if they were our own. We use armbands to ensure the safety and security of our check-in process. The person who drops off your child must be the same person who picks him or her up after the worship gathering. All of our volunteers are trained to match the numbers on both armbands, no matter how many times you've been to Kids' City or how well they know you or your children. Please be mindful of this and do not take offense when we ask. It's for the safety of your child and the other children in Kids' City. If there is a concern with your child, the last three digits from your armband will appear on the Parent Paging System during the worship gathering. If this occurs, please return to the child check-in area. Our volunteers undergo complete background checks through a professional security organization. They must be squeaky clean to work with your child. They look friendly, but our secret security staff patrols the premises vigilantly. No one is permitted past the checkin point unless they are wearing an armband. Snacks are served to children (age 2 to kindergarten) with water during the worship gathering. A sign will be posted at the check-in table which lists the snack to be served that day. Options are typically goldfish crackers, Cheerios or Apple Cinnamon Mini Rice Cakes (which do not contain flour). If your child has an allergy, please bring a safe snack for your child and inform the check-in staff to ensure that the allergy is written on your child's armband. If you have any concerns regarding the health and safety of your child in Kids' City, please let us know.
