3rd Leg Opportunities for your Small Group At Crossings, we believe that each small group is like a 3-legged stool. Our 3 legs at Crossings are: 1. Intentional community within the group. 2. Studying together in the context of these relationships. 3. Impacting the community and the city around us by service to others. Each small group strives to have a balance of all three of these legs. The Restoration House of East Tennessee  The Restoration House of East Tennessee is a non-profit dedicated to helping restore single mothers and their children back to God's good intent for their lives. There are various ways to help from childcare to construction to preparing dinner for a mother and her mentors. Contact Mandy Watson for opportunities to serve at  Prom of the Stars  The Prom of the Stars is a free prom for people with physical and cognitive disabilities and takes place each November. This is an amazing event! There are opportunities to help with preparations beforehand, activities the day of the prom, and post-prom activities. Anyone interested in helping out should contact Leigh Wilson at  Volunteer Registration Form Family Christmas Shop  The Family Christmas Shop restores dignity to the working poor by giving them the opportunity to purchase their own gifts for their families at Christmas at prices they can afford. There are many ways you can serve both with your time and also by purchasing gifts. For more information about serving, email Daniel Watson at To sign up to help in November or December, contact Shannon Warden at  The Love Kitchen  This is a non-profit organization that prepares and serves meals twice a week for the homeless and homebound. They are open on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am to 8 pm for small groups to help prepare and serve food. Each group can decide how long they would like to volunteer.
